Description
Sadly, the top was cut off so the white area left along the edge isn't equal.
Anyhow, this engine was built by Baldwin for a sugar cane plantation in Hawaii, where it fell off a trestle in 1920. It has since served another plantation. It can regularly be seen at George Thagard's house in Coto de Caza, CA. It is taken to Ardenwood every Labor Day, and has traveled to the Nevada and California state railway museums at Carson City and Sacramento.
Interestingly enough, from 1891 until George Thagard bought it, this engine was called the Doctor.
